When Kara was younger, she used to be bullied at school. Riza would always watch from a distance, thinking it would end sooner or later. But it never did, it just got worse every time. She got tired of seeing the abuse, so she got in the way and defended her. Kara was shocked. No one has ever done that for her before. That's how they met and became best friends even since.
